Obituary of Milton Cummings Jr. Milton Cummings, Jr., passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 peacefully in his sleep; born to and preceded in death to Mr. & Mrs. Milton & Rosa Cummings, Sr.; and beloved wife, Geraldine (Rickman) Cummings. Milton was born in West Point, Mississippi on February 5, 1949 and the family relocated to East St. Louis, IL in 1951. He attended and graduated from Lincoln Sr. High School in East Louis, IL and continued on to Community College and received a degree in Construction majoring in Concrete Masonry. He also served in the United States Army where he received an Honorable Discharge. Milton retired from Turbine Aircraft where he served as the Company’s Purchasing Coordinator and Office Administrator. Milton (Papa) leaves to cherish a brother, James W. (Ella) Lee, two daughters, Nicole Allen and Krystle Taylor of East St. Louis, IL, one son Calvin C. Rickman (Arlicia), grandsons, Jahmal C. Rickman, Carrollton, TX, DeLarren Mason, St. Louis, MO, grand-daughter Carmen Hawkins, East St. Louis, great-granddaughter Aaliyah Ivonna Rickman (Elascha Hicks); Carrollton, TX one aunt, Bertha Nelson, one uncle John Samuels, East St. Louis, a sister-n-law, Janette Young, East St. Louis, IL and a host of nieces and Nephews, Marvin (Michelle) Young, M.J. Young, Grand Prairie, TX, Larry (Tiffany) Adley, Brianna Logan, Jaylon Gardner, Carrollton, TX, Jennifer Lee, Tywana Young, Lesley Moore, Kent Young, Sr. & Jr. Keenan Young, East St. Louis, IL, and Jazzlyn Young, New Orleans, LA. Papa loved his family immensely and enjoyed watching old western movies and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a family man who was so loving, caring and giving, a man of few words, but a heart of gold and we will miss him tremendously. Our hearts find comfort and peace knowing he’s in his final resting place, resting in the arms of our heavenly Father.
