Marilyn Myrtis Lacy Vaughn was born January 29, 1957, to James Henry and Juanita Lacy, native of Dallas, Texas. Marilyn accepted Christ at an early age and received her education from Dallas Public Schools. She graduated from Lincoln High School and then from ATT Tech School. She worked with the United States Postal Service until her health failed.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Walter Parker and Jermale Parker; one daughter, Unquinette Lacy; four grandchildren, Irie, Avion, Jermale, and Darius; sisters, Rebia Walker (John D.), Catherine Lovely (C.D.), Mable Hollands and Carolyn Puyol (Adrian); brothers, Eric Ferrell (Zelda), Herbert Lacy (Bobbie), James Lacy, Jr. (Teresa) and Tommy Lacy (Shirley); and a host of relatives and friends.
