Mrs. Bobbie J Burns

January 16, 1930 - April 10, 2018

No words can express how much we are going to miss you, and to live on with your memories is all we can do. It is going to be hard waking up each day knowing that you are not here. Even though you’re not here in the flesh, your spirit will always be near. We know the father wanted you home, but he left your loving presence with us all. You were very special to us as a mother, aunt, sister, and friend.
Bobbie Jean Burns was born in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of the late Leonard Wadley and Jessie Mae Wadley. Bobbie accepted Christ at an early age. Bobbie received her formal education at N. W. Harlee and Lincoln High School. She was mother to four sons.
Bobbie departed this life on April 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Joe Douglas, Leonard Douglas, and Michael Burns; and sister, Frances York.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Wilson Douglas; granddaughter, Nakida Thomas; grandsons, Kevin and Keenan Campbell; sister, Leslie Fae Holmes; nieces, Gwen Smith and Regina Banks; and a host of other relatives and friends.
