Mr. Otis Traylor

November 7, 1922 - August 31, 2018

A devoted Husband, loving Father, nourishing Grandfather, loyal friend and servant of God. Otis Traylor was born to the late Spence and Mary Jane Traylor, on November 7, 1922.
He was educated in the Titus County Schools. He retired from Sears & Roebuck Co. after 35 years of service.
He accepted Christ at an early age in Mt. Pleasant, Texas and later united with New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. O.M. Locust. He served on the Usher Board, Finance Committee and as Deacon until his health began to fail. He was a 33rd Degree Manson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter , Rosalind Jackson, granddaughter, Shurhetta Traylor; and four sisters

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: Evelyn (wife of 69 years); two daughters, Marilyn Russell (Daryl, Sr.); Madelyn Traylor, two granddaughters, Delaina and Kamisha Jackson; one grandson, Daryl (Alison) Russell, II, two great grandsons, Dee Traylor and DeVaughdric Ross; one brother- in law James Reeves, one sister- in law Dorothy Reeves; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
